Book Reports

I like to keep track of the books I've read on Goodreads. However, I find a lot of free ebooks on Amazon thru other blogs and a lot of these are not found on Goodreads. I still want to keep track of what I've read so I will do that here.

"The Five Love Languages of Children" by Gary Chapman and Ross Campbell, MD. Read December 2012. Review here.

"How to Declutter Your Home During the Weekend" (read 1/2/2013) ~ I feel bad putting this book on here so I won't list the author's name. I know it was a free ebook but it really wasn't worth the 5 minutes it took to read it. There was no "how to" anywhere and no implication that you could get anything at all done in a weekend. I was looking forward to learning how to declutter in a weekend. Really, I'm not sure what I was supposed to take away from this other than the fact it was horribly written and full of grammatical errors. (My pet peeve. And I know I am not a vastly superior writer myself but if you are going to put something out there, especially as a "book," that you want lots of people to read, please proof-read it. Please.)

"Dave Ramsey's Guide to Budgeting" (read 1/25/2013) ~ very good. I would like to try and start budgeting now. It's been a long time since I've done this. Having a variable income will make it harder but, apparently, it can be done!
